Biography

Raymond J. Etcheverry is past chairman of the board of directors at Parsons Behle & Latimer, where he devotes his practice to business litigation. He has extensive experience representing clients in the areas of antitrust, intellectual property, securities litigation, class action defense, and other complex business litigation.

Mr. Etcheverry is recognized in Best Lawyers in America for Bet-the-Company Litigation, Antitrust Law and Commercial Litigation. He is also recognized in Chambers USA for Business Litigation and Antitrust Law.

He has served as lead counsel in a number of class actions including antitrust, securities, consumer and employment class actions. He has represented clients in a wide variety of antitrust cases alleging price fixing, monopolization and exclusive dealing arrangements. Also, he has served as antitrust counsel in a number of mergers and acquisitions requiring federal approval.

Mr. Etcheverry has represented clients in a broad range of businesses in patent and trade secret litigation in numerous federal and state courts. In addition, he has represented clients in a variety of complex commercial litigation matters, including contractual disputes, claims of tortious interference and insurance coverage litigation.

Mr. Etcheverry is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court and the 3rd, 5th, 10th and Federal Circuit Courts of Appeals. He is an active member of the Litigation, Antitrust and Intellectual Property Sections of the American Bar Association.
