J. Michael Bailey Salt Lake City, Utah
Mike Bailey is a shareholder in the Litigation department. He concentrates his practice on commercial litigation as well as environmental law and litigation. In the environmental litigation area he has represented Monsanto, Hewlett-Packard, National Semiconductor, FMC Corporation, Husky Oil Company and Marathon Oil Company.
Mr. Bailey has had significant trial experience before federal and state courts. He has argued appeals before the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals, the Utah Supreme Court and the Utah Court of Appeals. In an appeal before the United States Supreme Court, he also represented 37 former members of Congress in the landmark case, McConnell v. FEC. He has also had significant experience before various state and federal agencies.
