Parsons Behle & Latimer is seeking a full-time, in-office Litigation Paralegal for its Idaho Falls office. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree or a paralegal certificate, and 5+ years of experience working as a litigation paralegal.
The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple matters and competing deadlines. This role requires strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys, clients, and other team members. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) is required.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate
- 5+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment, both in Idaho Falls and remotely with teams from other offices
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with litigation document management systems
- Comfort using technology-driven timekeeping and billing systems
What You’ll Do:
- Manage the collection and preservation of client data
- Assist attorneys with discovery, motion practice, and hearings
- Manage discovery documents in the firm’s database program
- Collect, preserve, and summarize medical records
- Prepare for and attend arbitrations and trials using the firm’s trial presentation program
- Mentor and support other paralegals and support staff, sharing knowledge to foster efficiency and collaboration
- Support all aspects of the litigation practice
