John is a member of the Litigation, Trials, and Appeals practice group at Parsons Behle & Latimer.

John received his JD degree from the University of Utah, graduating with highest honors and earning election to The Order of the Coif.  While attending law school, John served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Judge Robert Shelby at the United States District Court, District of Utah.  John also worked as a summer associate at Parsons Behle & Latimer.

Before joining Parsons Behle & Latimer, John worked a twenty-four year career in law enforcement, serving as a police officer, detective, and supervisor. John earned his undergraduate degree, a B.S. in mechanical engineering, from Northwestern University.

In his free time, John enjoys canyoneering, snowboarding, and coaching youth baseball.
