Mr. Blair is a member of the firm’s Corporate, Transactions & Securities and Real Estate practice groups. His practice is focused primarily on corporate and real estate transactions and general business matters including business formation, planning and governance, contract drafting and negotiation, and business finance. He has extensive litigation experience in these areas and routinely represents his clients in governance, collection, quiet title, and tenant-landlord disputes.

Mr. Blair obtained his Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration from Tulane University in New Orleans where he studied transactional law, international business, and finance. Following his formal education, he completed a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Joel E. Tingey, Administrative District Judge for the 7th Judicial District of Idaho, giving him a broad understanding of the court system.

With his business and finance background and familiarity with the courts, Mr. Blair provides his business clients with deep and comprehensive representation. He has represented several large business clients ($100 million plus in revenue) in a variety of capacities. He has been involved in several multi-million-dollar business and real estate transactions; represented a global direct marketing company in enforcing its restrictive covenants (non-compete and non-solicitation agreements); and assisted with the real estate and finance aspects of a joint venture transaction that created the third-largest gold mining company in the world.

Mr. Blair primarily practices from Parsons Behle & Latimer’s Idaho and Utah offices but serves clients throughout the Intermountain West. He is licensed in Arizona, Colorado, Idaho and Utah.
