Nicholas U. Frandsen is shareholder at Parsons Behle & Latimer where he concentrates his practice on banking and finance litigation, commercial litigation, employment and labor, personal injury and product liability cases.

In his banking and finance litigation practice, Mr. Frandsen has successfully tried or settled dozens of matters for large national banks as well as local community banks at both the trial and appellate court levels.  These cases have involved a wide range of banking issues including foreclosures, deficiency actions, loan defaults, forbearance agreements, title issues and garnishments.  Mr. Frandsen also has expertise in judgment enforcement, collection and receivership cases. As an employment and labor litigator, Mr. Frandsen has successfully represented both plaintiff employees and defendant employers in various wrongful termination and discrimination matters. Mr. Frandsen has also successfully negotiated settlements for both plaintiffs and defendants in various personal injury and product liability lawsuits.

Mr. Frandsen currently serves as the vice chair for the Banking & Finance Section of the Utah State Bar.

Before joining Parsons Behle & Latimer, Mr. Frandsen attended Brigham Young University where he graduated with a B.S. degree in business management emphasizing in finance in 2004. He received a J.D. degree from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University in 2009. While in law school, Mr. Frandsen was an editor for the BYU Law Review and the BYU Education and Law Journal. He was also a member of the moot court team. Mr. Frandsen was admitted to the Utah State Bar in 2009.
