With years of civil and criminal law experience, Michael W. Young and Lauren M. Hunt have dedicated their respective legal careers to representing survivors and holding individuals and institutions accountable for abusive practices.

Our experienced team, led by Michael W. Young, represents victims of sexual assault in civil litigation against individuals, governmental entities, and private institutions. Mr. Young began practicing as an attorney in the Special Department for War Crimes in the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina. During his time in Bosnia, he worked as part of the legal team that over several months of trial successfully prosecuted Marko Radic and others for crimes against humanity. His work on the Radic trial team was particularly focused on crimes of rape and sexual assault. 

Before transitioning to civil litigation, Lauren M. Hunt was a criminal prosecutor who specialized in domestic violence and sexual assault cases. Successfully prosecuting hundreds of cases including aggravated assault, child pornography, rape, sexual offenses against children, attempted murder, and aggravated homicide, Ms. Hunt also saw over 20 cases through jury trial.
