Welcomes commercial litigator and employment and labor law attorney Sarah Ferguson 

Today, Parsons Behle & Latimer (Parsons) is pleased to announce that commercial litigation and employment law attorney Sarah Ferguson has joined Parsons’ Reno office as a shareholder. Ferguson brings with her a wealth of experience in complex commercial litigation and employment and labor law, rounding out the full range of legal services Parsons provides to Nevada businesses and residents.

I'm excited to join that tradition and start the Nevada branch of their already-robust employment practice as well as expand my complex commercial litigation practice. Ferguson has extensive experience handling all phases of litigation from state and federal court appearances to managing large case teams, drafting dispositive motions and conducting depositions. She also maintains a robust employment practice and represents her clients in every aspect of employment and labor law. Her clients span a broad spectrum of industries including aerospace, mining, energy, financial services and pharmaceutical companies and vary from large to small companies.

As a Reno native, Ferguson is committed to serving the Reno community and has an active pro bono practice, including direct services and community outreach. She currently serves on the Board of the Lilley Museum at the University of Nevada – Reno and is the vice president of the Board of Directors of Northern Nevada Legal Aid. Ferguson also serves as a board member of the Washoe County Legal Services and a member of the Washoe County Bar Association.

Ferguson practiced in New York City before returning to Reno, focusing on commercial litigation and white-collar defense.
