SALT LAKE CITY — Dec. 6, 2023 At the December meeting of the Labor & Employment Law Section of the Utah State Bar, Parsons Behle & Latimer (Parsons) attorney Christina Jepson was recognized as the 2024 Employment Lawyer of the Year (Management Side). Jepson is one of Parsons most tenured employment and labor attorneys and served as the chairperson of the employment and labor practice team – one of the largest and most experienced employment and labor teams in the Intermountain West – for 10 years. Jepson also served as Parsons’ first Diversity, Equity & Inclusion director at the inception of the program.

Jepson has been an attorney with Parsons for nearly 30 years and has mentored many of the young attorneys at the firm as well as dedicated countless hours in the community, advising organizations pro bono including the Utah Film Center, Girls on the Run, Salt Lake City Arts Council, Visit Salt Lake, the Democratic Party sexual harassment committee and the Utah Trafficking in Persons Taskforce Legal Subcommittee. Jepson also lends her time and legal knowledge to the S.J. Quinney School of Law at the University of Utah her alma mater, where she graduated first in her class. Jepson currently serves as an adjunct professor at the law school where she teaches employment law for the Masters’ of Legal Studies program.
