Abby Brown, a shareholder in the firm's Helena office, will be a speaker at two upcoming water law-related webinars.
The first, titled "Montana Water Law 101," will be held on Oct. 7 at 7:00 p.m. The second, "Adjudication, Permitting, and the District Court" will be held on Oct. 14, also at 7:00 p.m.
Brown will address the fundamentals of Montana’s water rights system, including types of water rights, permitting, adjudication, priority dates and basic concepts of Montana water law within the court system. Webinar participants will gain valuable understanding of how water Montana laws affect water users now and moving into the future.
