Parsons Behle & Latimer (Parsons) congratulates Idaho attorneys Justin Eckman, Jeffrey Jorgensen and Jon Stenquist, as well as docketing manager Julie Shipley for being named Idaho Business Review (IBR) “2026 Leaders in Law Award” recipients. They will be honored along with other award recipients at an awards ceremony on Nov. 17 in Boise.
These four individuals are recognized for their valuable contributions not only to the firm and its clients, but for demonstrating strong connections in their legal and business communities and for the vision, kindness and innovation they contribute to the legal industry.
Eckman, who was honored with IBR’s "Up & Coming" award, is an associate in Parsons’ Rexburg office. He practices primarily in the trusts, wills and estate, and litigation departments. His practice concentrates on estate planning, trust and probate litigation, medical malpractice defense and family law appellate work.
Jorgensen was recognized in the "Associate" category by IBR. He practices as an associate in the firm’s Boise office, where he focuses on corporate law, including business formation and strategic planning, business transactions, real estate transactions, and corporate governance and compliance.
Shipley, who received IBR’s "Unsung Hero" honor, is the firm’s docketing manager in its Boise office, overseeing a team of docketing specialists. In addition to managing the docketing program, Shipley helped develop guidelines for the program which she rolled out firmwide.
Stenquist is a director and vice president on the firm’s board of directors. He was honored in IBR’s "Partner" category. He is a commercial and real estate attorney and has participated in a variety of significant cases and appeals, including property disputes, lender liability, real property claims, homeowners’ associations and regulatory violations.
IBR’s Leaders in Law program, which is celebrated annually, honors experience, dedication, hard work and excellence demonstrated by members of the Idaho legal community and is dedicated to individuals whose leadership, both in the legal profession and in the community, has had a positive impact within Idaho communities.
