From Nov. 12 – 14, 2025, Parsons Behle & Latimer’s (Parsons) 11 offices across Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Utah and Wyoming participated in United Way’s three-day, 2025 fundraising campaign with a creative campaign aimed to honor Utah filmmaker Robert Redford, who had recently passed away, and his commitment to the West.
Parsons’ 2025 United Way Chairperson Barbara Bagnasacco kicked off the campaign by writing to the firm, “This year, Parsons’ United Way Campaign is titled ‘Three Days of The Condor: A Tribute to Robert Redford.’ Mr. Redford was a great champion for the Far West, where Parsons has its offices, and the idea is to celebrate his career and the places that he loved. The title signals that the campaign will last three days: November 12-14, 2025.”
Parsons’ internal United Way Planning Committee created a full agenda of events to facilitate giving, including a wellness challenge; a live auction; firm luncheons; a day of service with meal kit assembly for donations to local schools and food pantries across the region; and the key feature of the themed campaign – a “ParSun-dance” Film Festival that included each office creating its own independent short film. Parsons extends its gratitude to our Parsons’ team members who donated to the live auction as well as client and friends of the firm donors who included:
Air & Sea International
Brigham Young University
Paul Utz, co-owner of Crystal Tones, LLC
Salt Lake Bees
Statues.com
University of Utah
Young Living
The giving campaign was highly successful, reflecting Parsons’ core values and culture, Parsons’ employees assembling a total of 1,209 meal kits (the Boise office taking the lead with 260 meal kits assembled). The kits were donated locally where the firm has offices and were targeted to help children in need, and their families, in a meaningful way. The firm raised a total of $35,835 from all its offices, which included individual donations, a corporate gift by the firm and a $500 donation from the firm on behalf of the Salt Lake City office as the winner of the “ParSun”dance Film festival.
“I was impressed by the generous nature of Parsons’ team members combined with our community partners’ willingness to give to this campaign,” says Bagnasacco. “Every year the level of participation is outstanding. The energy and dedication of both attorneys and professional staff in taking part in this campaign and in coming together in a creative way with the purpose of giving back to the community is second to none.”
Parsons thanks attorney Barbara Bagnasacco for leading the 2025 campaign and Parsons’ United Way planning committee members: Justin Eckman, Nicole Farrell, Rachael Hickenlooper, Tawna Love, Blayke Lym, Micaela Thornton and Venus Wily for their outstanding work and dedication to this cause.
