Parsons Behle & Latimer (Parsons) shareholders have voted to retain the firm’s 2023 Board of Directors for 2024, while electing two additional board members to support the firm’s consistent growth. Over the past five years, Parsons has doubled the number of its offices in the Intermountain West, most recently adding its 10th office in Jackson, Wyoming. Founded in 1882, Parsons is one of the oldest and largest regional law firms in the Intermountain West.
On Jan. 16 Parsons shareholders reelected existing firm leadership for 2024 including: Director, Chairperson and CEO Shawn C. Ferrin; Director and Vice President Richard J. Angell; Director and Vice President Brook B. Bond; Director, Vice President and Treasurer Bruce H. White; and Director and Vice President Juliette P. White. This year, Parsons shareholders also elected two new board members: Director, Vice President and Secretary Liz M. Mellem located in Parsons’ Missoula, Montana office; and Director and Vice President Jon A. Stenquist, located in Parsons’ Idaho Falls, Idaho office. Cory D. Sinclair will continue to serve as president of the firm.
Prior to her election as a board member, Mellem served as the managing shareholder for Parsons’ Missoula and Helena offices. Mellem is a skilled litigator who focuses her practice on employment and labor counseling and litigation. She says, “I have seen Parsons achieve many milestones in recent years. I am incredibly proud of the firm’s advancement, and I am proud to now be a member of its board of directors. I look forward to working to help lead our firm to even greater accomplishments over the next few years.”
Stenquist is an experienced commercial and real estate attorney. His practice focuses on problem solving through transactional and litigation solutions. His varied experience has provided him with a unique and valuable perspective in addressing commercial contracts, complex real estate transactions and dispute resolution.
