Julianne Blanch, a shareholder in Parsons Behle & Latimer’s Salt Lake City office, was inducted as a fellow into the International Academy of Trial Lawyers at the organization’s 2026 Annual Meeting in Charleston, S.C., April 8-12.
Blanch, a shareholder in the firm’s Salt Lake City office, has gained widespread recognition as a top-tier litigator. She made the esteemed list of Lawdragon 500 Litigators and was recently recognized as one of the “Top Ten” lawyers in Super Lawyers Mountain States. She has been recognized in Chambers & Partners USA Guide for the past several years in the commercial litigation category.
“It’s one of the great honors of my legal career that I was inducted earlier this month into the International Academy of Trial Lawyers. This organization includes some amazing lawyers that I already knew from other trial groups, but the ones I met for the first time at the induction were all equally as impressive. I look forward to building friendships with this elite group of trial lawyers,” says Blanch.
Blanch has tried a broad range of cases in her 30 years of practice, including trusts and estates, product liability and bad faith insurance claims. More recently, her practice is concentrated on commercial litigation, fraud cases and catastrophic personal injury cases. Handling dozens of appeals on state and federal levels, she has argued before the Utah Court of Appeals, the Utah Supreme Court and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. Additionally, she is a member of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, American Board of Trial Advocates, the American College of Trial Lawyers and the International Society of Barristers, all of which are elite trial lawyer organizations.
The International Academy of Trial Lawyers (the Academy) is a fellowship of lawyers with a singular mission—to protect and promote the Rule of Law. Founded in 1954, the Academy consists of the best trial lawyers as measured by skill, experience, ethics and civility. The Academy, dedicated to excellence, advocacy and legal reform is an elite trial lawyer organization. Membership includes 500 active trial lawyers in the United States and Fellows from more than 30 countries, representing both plaintiffs and defendants in civil cases, as well as prosecutors and criminal defense lawyers.
