Parsons Behle & Latimer (Parsons) has once again taken the top spot in the Utah Minority Bar Association’s (UMBA) annual Juneteenth Charity Challenge — marking our fourth consecutive victory in this impactful fundraiser!
Through the generosity and commitment of Parsons’ attorneys and professional staff, a total of $17,502 was raised in support of the English Skills Learning Center (ESLC) — more than all other participating firms and organizations combined, including among others, Kirkland & Ellis, Ray Quinney & Nebeker and Parr Brown Gee & Loveless. ESLC’s mission to support English language learners and immigrants across Utah is vital, and we are proud that our collective efforts will significantly contribute to this cause.
Out of more than 140 total donors, 73 donors were from Parsons — yet another reflection of Parsons’ deep-rooted values: People, Service, Excellence, and Integrity.
This achievement would not have been possible without the outstanding dedication and teamwork of so many across the firm.
Whether behind the scenes or front and center, hundreds of Parsons’ team members made this victory possible from those who contributed donations or auction items to the labor and time invested to make the event an overwhelming success.
Attorney Jesús A. Salazar who coordinated the fundraiser said, “This event truly demonstrates the strength and uniqueness of our Parsons community. I am very grateful to be part of such a great team and firm. We should all be very proud of our accomplishment!”
Winning this challenge four years in a row is more than just a statistic — it’s a testament to the unwavering culture of generosity and purpose at Parsons. We are pleased to make a meaningful difference in the communities we serve and hope to do so well into the future.
