Norman Semanko, managing shareholder in the firm's Boise office, was presented with the distinguished Water Buffalo Award from the National Water Users Association (NWRA) on Nov. 5, 2025, at the organization's annual conference and leadership forum in Tucson, Arizona. The Water Buffalo Award is given to individuals who are widely acknowledged by their peers for their expertise, influence and leadership in the water business.
Semanko is a past president of NWRA and currently serves as the organization's litigation review committee vice-chair.
"This award was a big surprise, but very welcomed. I have been involved in NWRA for over 30 years and look forward to many more years serving water users West-wide," said Semanko.
Semanko is a recognized authority and leading figure in the world of water West-wide. His comprehensive practice blends consultation with governmental affairs and litigation to provide tailored legal services and consistent results for the firm’s clients.
