Attorney Kimball Parker and BYU's LawX Program Earn National Attention

Kimball Dean Parker, an associate in the firm’s Salt Lake City office, oversees LawX, a legal design lab at BYU’s J. Reuben Clark Law School that creates products and other solutions addressing the pressing issues relating to access of legal services. 

Each fall semester, the LawX program strives to solve a legal issue that makes the law inaccessible in Utah. The first and recently-completed LawX project, lead by Kimball and including a group of BYU law students, was the creation of, a free online tool that allows users to address their debt-collection law suits without having to hire a lawyer.
