Parsons Behle & Latimer attorney Julianne P. Blanch has been awarded the rare honor of induction into one of the most prestigious organizations for trial attorneys, the International Society of Barristers (ISOB). https://www.isob.com/

Blanch ranks among the most experienced trial lawyers in Salt Lake City and is widely respected by her peers. Fellow Parsons Behle & Latimer Shareholder Katherine Venti says, “Juli is a very experienced and a skilled litigator with more trial experience than many of her peers. She is also a very knowledgeable appellate lawyer and has argued cases before the Utah Supreme Court and the Utah Court of Appeals. Being highly skilled at both trial litigation and appellate litigation sets her apart and allows her to provide excellent client representation.”

No lawyer may apply for membership in the Society but must be nominated by an existing Fellow of the organization. Blanch was nominated during November 2018 by Francis M. Wikstrom, a fellow Parsons Behle & Latimer shareholder and trial attorney. Nominations are subjected to a rigorous, months-long review process. Successful nominees are elected by the Society's Board of Governors after inquiry as to the nominee's skill as a trial lawyer and personal and professional integrity directed to other Barristers in the nominee's region and to judges before whom the nominee has tried cases.

As individuals, the Fellows of the Society are committed to the highest of ethical standards and to civility in all their personal and professional relationships, a quality that Blanch’s associates say perfectly describes Blanch. Grace Pusuvat, an Associate at Parsons Behle & Latimer says, “Juli exemplifies the highest levels of professionalism and civility while giving her clients unparalleled service. She is very smart, completely giving and a great advocate for clients and associates.”

Blanch says it is a wonderful feeling to have been nominated and accepted into a group of such high caliber trial attorneys. With a limited membership, the Society has Fellows from every state, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands, and from Australia, Canada, England, Scotland and Ireland, with the great majority from the United States.

Parsons Behle & Latimer salutes this outstanding attorney for her noteworthy accomplishments.
