On March 21 and 22, a Qatari delegation, led by His Excellency Sheikh Meshal Bin Hamad Al-Thani, Ambassador Anne Patterson and Ambassador Khalid Bin Yousef Al-Sada, visited Utah and was hosted by World Trade Center Utah. As part of their inbound trade mission to Utah, the diplomats met with Gov. Gary R. Herbert and nearly 30 Utah companies to explore expanded trade and investment opportunities between Utah and Qatar. On March 22, Parsons Behle & Latimer enjoyed hosting the Qatari delegation along with members from the investment community including Kickstart Seed Fund, Mercato Partners, Signal Peak Ventures and Sorenson Capital, to demonstrate why Utah is the right place for foreign investment.
