Today, Parsons Behle & Latimer, one of Salt Lake City’s oldest and largest law firms, announced the results of its 37th consecutive United Way campaign. During a time of extraordinary need, the firm raised more than $63,000 to support United Way of Salt Lake, United Way of Treasure Valley, Idaho and United Way of Northern Nevada and the Sierra. Parsons Behle & Latimer has historically and consistently been one of the Intermountain Region’s top donors among firms in the legal industry.

Barbara Bagnasacco, Parsons Behle & Latimer attorney, campaign chair and United Way board member says, “Parsons is a community-oriented firm and has partnered with United Way for many years. I am proud that, in a challenging time marked by uncertainty for so many, Parsons’ attorneys and professional staff came together to kindly give to vulnerable individuals and families and to support the communities in which we live through United Way.”

During the pandemic, United Way has experienced a substantial increase in requests for services. Hal Pos, Parsons president and CEO says, “Our firm has long supported the mission of United Way and the positive collective impact that individuals and businesses, large or small, can make in a community. Participating with United Way is a great way for us to give back to the communities where we live, work and recreate. Additionally, community stewardship is an important part of our firm’s culture.” Parsons’ donations will serve to support programs such as “211,” “Promise Partnership,” and advocacy programs for children and families affected by the economic impact of COVID-19.

Parsons is pleased to continue its ongoing partnership with United Way and support the outstanding work United Way performs within communities throughout the region.
