Liz is a member of Parsons’ Litigation practice team and serves as counsel in numerous matters involving complex commercial litigation, employment and labor issues, and shareholder and partnership disputes involving entities of various types and sizes. These include recognized outdoor apparel and equipment manufacturers, electronic manufacturing companies, and family real estate businesses.
In addition, Liz is an experienced litigator of intellectual property matters requiring interpretation of complex patents as well as cases in the realm of copyright, trade dress and trademark law.
Liz has litigated a case of first impression in Utah jurisprudence involving interpretation of Utah’s constitution and common law doctrine related to access to and use of waters flowing over private property in the State of Utah.
Liz has extensive experience litigating competitive issues including both enforcement and defense of restrictive covenants. In addition, she counsels and represents public and private employers on labor and employment matters including, but not limited to, collective bargaining, grievances, arbitration, labor litigation and related matters.
Prior to joining Parsons Behle & Latimer, Liz served as chair of Jones Waldo’s Board of Directors, chair of the Jones Waldo Women Lawyers Group, and chair of the Associate Recruiting Committee. Outside of the office, Liz enjoys exploring the Wasatch Mountains with her husband and two dogs. Liz is an avid ultra-runner and finisher of the Wasatch 100.
