Biography

In his practice, Ben works closely with business owners, executives, managers, and professionals to protect their intellectual property, professional reputations, and business relationships. Ben frequently litigates disputes involving trade secrets, trademarks, and copyrights, as well as restrictive covenants. He also regularly assists clients in lawsuits involving defamation, contractual disputes, and interference with business relationships. Ben has developed a holistic approach to advising business clients on how to solve legal problems, including the strategies, risks, and options available to them.

Ben graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law (cum laude), where he was a managerial board member of the Georgia Law Review. While in law school, Ben was a judicial intern for The Honorable Eleanor L. Ross in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia and was also an intern for the Metro Atlanta Business Case Division of the Superior Court of Fulton County. Prior to joining Parsons, Ben was a litigation associate at a well-respected law firm in Atlanta, Georgia. Ben is licensed to practice law in the state of Georgia and Utah.

Outside of the office, Ben enjoys exploring Salt Lake City’s food scene with his wife, Leslie, hiking, and reading science fiction novels.
