Brad Liddell

Brad represents and advises owners, developers, landlords, tenants, contractors and builders, design professionals (architects and engineers) and suppliers through the lifecycle of construction projects, identifying potential issues and limitations with project intent, drafting and negotiating critical project agreements, and advises on strategies for project delivery. Brad has experience in a wide variety of projects, including commercial construction, multifamily, residential, mixed-use, resort and hospitality, industrial build-to-suit, and projects within the mining industry. He advises clients on project delivery strategies, including design-bid-build, design-build, CMAR/CMGC, fast-tracked and phased delivery, EPC delivery, and custom hybrid delivery strategies tailored for the project and client needs. Brad also represents clients in matters ranging from commercial contract disputes, construction and design defect disputes, delay disputes, and third-party claims arising from design or construction, regularly representing owners, developers, contractors and design professionals in high-stakes litigation.

Brad provides general legal counseling to his real estate, construction and design professional clients, serving as outside general counsel for a number of clients, advising on business strategic risk management and loss prevention best practices. Brad’s experience in all facets of project development and disputes and litigation flowing from development and construction is the foundation for his approach to advising and counseling on managing risk before project commencement and through and during conflicts, disputes and claims that arise during the course of construction and development.
