Jeff Corey represents clients in government enforcement and internal investigation matters. He specializes in assisting clients in heavily-regulated industries facing pressure from government investigations, as well as defending clients in high-stakes civil litigation.



Jeff Corey’s practice focuses on regulatory enforcement and internal investigation matters. He regularly assists clients in heavily regulated industries conduct internal investigations and respond to government inquiries. This experience includes representing clients who are targets of government investigations involving alleged violations of the False Claims Act, environmental laws, healthcare laws, securities laws and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. Jeff also has significant litigation experience representing clients at trial and on appeal in both civil and criminal matters.

Jeff's defense practice also includes representing clients in environmental enforcement and environmental litigation matters. Among other environmental cases, he has litigated matters involving CERCLA, Clean Air Act and Clean Water Act liability issues. Jeff has also represented clients in criminal environmental matters at the federal and state level.

Prior to joining Parsons Behle & Latimer, from 2009 to 2013 Jeff served as an Assistant Federal Public Defender in Alexandria, Virginia. As an AFPD, Jeff represented clients at every stage of the criminal process, including at jury trials, evidentiary hearings, pre-charge negotiations, as witnesses testifying before grand juries and on appeal.

Jeff is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center. After graduating from law school in 2003, he served for two years as a federal District Court law clerk in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Jeff is a member of the Utah, Nevada and District of Columbia bars.
