Jordan Westgate’s practice focuses on family law. She understands the issues presented in such cases are emotionally taxing and difficult to navigate. Ms. Westgate approaches clients with compassion, aiming to mitigate conflict and achieve workable solutions. Her cases involve issues such as divorce, custody, child support, alimony, parentage and guardianship.
Jordan E. Westgate is a member of Parsons Behle & Latimer’s Litigation, Trials & Appeals practice team. Prior to joining Parsons, Ms. Westgate served as a law clerk for the Honorable Diana Hagen of the Utah Court of Appeals and for the Honorable Paige Petersen of the Utah Supreme Court. In this capacity, she assisted with research and drafted opinions addressing various legal issues. Through this experience, she gained invaluable insight into Utah’s appellate process.
Ms. Westgate attended the University of Miami School of Law where she graduated magna cum laude. She was admitted to practice in 2016. During law school, she was selected as a member of the Order of the Barristers, an honor society that recognizes students who demonstrate outstanding ability in trial advocacy, oral advocacy and brief writing. Prior to law school, Ms. Westgate graduated cum laude from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
