Mindy Kidd is a member of Parsons’ real estate and litigation teams. In her transactional practice, Mindy assists clients with their real estate needs, including purchasing, leasing, and zoning. Her litigation practice focuses on real property litigation. Mindy is an excellent communicator, and she enjoys working with clients to help them achieve their desired outcomes.

Biography
Mindy's practice includes both transactional and litigation work as it relates to real property. Her transactional work focuses on land use, zoning, leasing, real estate, and renewable energy. Mindy assists clients with land acquisition, new developments, commercial and residential property, purchase and sale transactions, and renewable energy development projects. In the litigation arm of her practice, Mindy represents builders, developers, cities and individuals in resolving contract, zoning, and constitutional claims.
Mindy also dedicates her time and talents in the community, currently serving as a board member for the Friends of the Children’s Justice Center (The Friends). The Friends’ mission is to empower child victims of crime and their families to transform trauma into resilience. The Friends fundraise to support the Children’s Justice Center program, ensuring children are able to safely tell their stories, seek justice, and find hope and healing through comprehensive wraparound services. Mindy earned her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Alabama School of Law. While in law school, Mindy served as the editor in chief of the Alabama Law Review. Following graduation, Mindy clerked for the Honorable Corey L. Maze in the Northern District of Alabama. Prior to law school, Mindy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Arizona State University.

Pro Bono Permitting for Client.
In a pro bono matter, assisted Shelter the Homeless / The Road Home to obtain ordinance amendments and conditional use permits to open two non-congregate shelters—one for the medically vulnerable population and one for families with children under the age of 18.
Managed Leases in a $500M Transaction
Assisted a Dental Support Organization (“DSO”) by managing the renewal, assignment, amendment, and organization of more than 75 leases and subleases in preparation for the DSO sale that culminated in a $500M transaction for the client. Continue to meet weekly with client to maintain property leases.
Pro Bono Permitting for Client
