Parsons Behle & Latimer offers a wide range of services relating to compliance with the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA) tax qualification for deferred compensation plans, welfare benefit plans, and other employee benefits. We help our clients with defined benefit and defined contribution plans, 401(k) plans, profit sharing plans, pension plans, stock bonus plans, money purchase pension plans, and cross-tested plans. We advise on 403(b) and 457 plans and other government plans. Additionally, we offer counsel on health, medical, dental, and accident insurance, including compliance with the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) and companion legislation the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010, sometimes collectively referred to as “Obama Care.” We assist clients with health tax related law issues including COBRA, HIPAA, HRAs, HSAs, and disability plans. We represent our clients with contributions to, distributions (including early and minimum required distributions) from, and roll-over and trustee to trustee transfers to Individual Retirement Arrangements. We advise on conversions to Roth IRAs, and we help clients with Cafeteria plans and VEBAs.
