Biography

Brian P. Rosander is a member of Parsons Behle & Latimer’s Real Estate and Finance practice group where he assists his clients in complex real estate and corporate transactions, including the acquisition, financing, development, and land use approvals and entitlements for commercial and retail shopping centers, office buildings and corporate headquarters, ski resort and golf course properties, and master-planned communities. In addition, Mr. Rosander has extensive experience in transactions involving mixed-use projects, industrial warehouses, apartment complexes, condominiums, and urban redevelopment projects.

In 2015, Mr. Rosander was given the Young Alumnus of the Year award by the S.J. Quinney College of Law and in 2016, Mr. Rosander was named one of Utah’s top “Forty under 40” by the Utah Business magazine.

Mr. Rosander has repeatedly been named by Mountain States Super Lawyers as a "Rising Star" and has been selected by his peers as an "Up and Coming Lawyer" and “Utah Legal Elite” in Utah Business magazine.

Mr. Rosander has been an adjunct professor at the University of Utah in the Master of Real Estate Development (MRED) Program where he taught a real estate due diligence course focusing on the importance of thoroughly analyzing and resolving problems associated with land use, entitlements, permitting, title, survey, environmental, wetlands, geotechnical, engineering, financing, and other related issues.

Mr. Rosander has served in several community and professional leadership positions, including as past-president of the Young Alumni Association and a member of the Board of Trustees for the S.J. Quinney College of Law, as past vice-chairman and council member for the Urban Land Institute (Utah Chapter), and as a next generation planning committee member for the International Council of Shopping Centers (Mountain States Chapter). In addition, Mr. Rosander served as the president of the Young Leaders Group for the Urban Land Institute (Utah Chapter) and as an executive committee member of the Young Leaders Division of the Utah State Bar.

Development and Sale of 459 Residences

Served as lead counsel in the entitlement, site development and sale of all development parcels of Park City Mountain Resort and Canyons Village, including Pendry Park City; Apex Park City; and YotelPAD – a combined 459 residences.
