Parsons Behle & Latimer (Parsons) continues its multi-year pattern of growth with the addition of four new attorneys to its offices in the Intermountain Region. The new associate attorneys will be located in Parsons’ Salt Lake City and Idaho Falls offices.
Joining Parsons’ Salt Lake City office are Samantha K. Davidson, Tyler Fang and Anjana Kanth. Kate Wheeler Peterson has joined Parsons’ Idaho Falls office. Fang is the newest addition to Parsons’ corporate practice, Kanth joins its divorce & family law practice, and Davidson and Wheeler Peterson have joined Parsons’ litigation practice.
Prior to joining Parsons, Davidson served as a judicial law clerk, a judicial extern and a trial attorney for the U.S. Trustee program. She says, “I am thrilled to join the Parsons family. I am ready to jump into working in my passion practice area—bankruptcy—as well as learning other skills that may intrigue me.”
Fang practiced at a large international firm in New York City and San Francisco before coming to Parsons, assisting clients with complex legal and regulatory matters for private fund sponsors and other asset managers. “I joined Parsons because of its extensive reach throughout the Intermountain West and its reputation for excellent legal work. I'm excited to be back home in Salt Lake City and look forward to building my practice here,” he says.
The newest member of Parsons’ divorce and family law practice, Kanth has assisted clients on a range of matters, including divorces, property division, employment-related disputes and business torts. She says of joining Parsons, “In my experience at the firm so far, I have met very genuine and friendly people who always seem willing to help. I think this culture sets Parsons apart, and I am so excited to join the team.”
Wheeler Peterson practiced at an Idaho-based law firm before continuing her career at Parsons, assisting clients on matters related to commercial litigation, bankruptcy and business law. She says, “I appreciate the warm welcome I’ve already received and look forward to working alongside everyone.”
Parsons’ CEO and Chairperson Shawn C. Ferrin says, “We couldn’t be more pleased to welcome these young and upcoming attorneys to the firm. They are extremely talented, and we know they will be an asset to the firm and provide outstanding service to our clients for many years to come. We look forward to watching their practices grow.”
