Parsons Behle & Latimer (Parsons) is proud to celebrate the recognition of two of its Idaho-based attorneys, Alexandra Hodson and Daniel E. Biddulph, by the Idaho State Bar. Biddulph and Hodson will be recognized by the Bar at its 100 Year Anniversary Gala on July 16. Hodson, based in Parsons’ Boise office has been named the 2025 Outstanding Young Lawyer of the Year, while Biddulph, based in Parsons’ Idaho Falls office is this year’s recipient of the Denise O’Donnell Day Pro Bono Award—two of the Bar’s most prestigious annual honors.
The Outstanding Young Lawyer of the Year is awarded to a member of the Idaho State Bar who has demonstrated professional excellence, community service and advancement of the legal profession—all within their first seven years of practice. Hodson’s selection reflects her exemplary leadership, dedication to the rule of law and active involvement in mentoring and volunteer service.
“I’m incredibly flattered to be the recipient of the Idaho State Bar’s Outstanding Young Lawyer Award; an honor I attribute to my colleagues, friends and family who’ve helped me rise to this pinnacle point in my career,” Hodson says. “I’m also grateful for the privilege of working among the many lawyers in our community who are equally deserving of this recognition.”
Hodson concentrates her practice on various forms of intellectual property, including trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. She assists clients in navigating the intricacies of intellectual property prosecution, portfolio management, enforcement and litigation. Hodson also serves as an adjunct professor for the Entrepreneurship Law Clinic at the University of Idaho College of Law, where she lectures on intellectual property law and prosecutes trademark applications on behalf of the program's clients.
The Denise O’Donnell Day Pro Bono Award is presented to an Idaho attorney who has made significant contributions to underserved populations through legal service. Biddulph was recognized for his exceptional commitment to providing high-quality, free legal representation to individuals and families who otherwise might not have had access to justice.
“I am honored to accept the Denise O’Donnell Day Pro Bono Award from the Idaho State Bar. Doing pro bono work has always been an important part of my practice, and I appreciate the opportunity to help ensure that everyone—regardless of their financial situation—has access to legal representation. I’m grateful to the Bar for highlighting the importance of this work, and I share this recognition with the many attorneys across the state who dedicate their time and skills to serving others,” says Biddulph.
Focusing his practice on civil litigation, Biddulph assists clients in various areas, including business and commercial litigation, contract and employment disputes, real estate matters, and trust and estate litigation. As an Idaho Falls native, Biddulph enjoys practicing law in his home state and serving the community where he grew up.
