On Nov. 17, 2025, Parsons Behle & Latimer (Parsons) was honored at the Utah Minority Bar Association (UBMA) Scholarship and Awards Banquet as the recipient of the Juneteenth Fundraiser Award. Each year, UMBA hosts this fundraiser on behalf of a local nonprofit organization committed to serving underprivileged communities. According to UMBA President Aline Longstaff, the award goes to a law firm or attorney team in Utah who raises the most money for UMBA's annual Juneteenth Fundraiser.

Longstaff commended Parsons as an "exemplary recipient" of the award, writing "Throughout your distinguished service, Parsons Behle & Latimer has shown leadership in supporting this important annual event, mobilizing resources, staff, and/or donations to uplift UMBA’s work and those nonprofits serving minority communities. Thank you for your dedication and hard work. Your contributions make a meaningful difference in the lives of our communities."

During the UMBA's annual fundraising event in June, Parsons' attorneys and professional staff raised more than three times the amount of the nearest competitor, with funds of more than $17,000 donated to the English Skills Learning Center through the fund drive. Parsons has been a consistent supporter of the UMBA and has raised more funds for its Juneteenth fundraiser for the past four years than any other firm.

Parsons' attorney Jesus Salazar who received the award on behalf of Parsons at the banquet says, " I am very honored and grateful to be part of a firm and group of people that places such a heavy emphasis on helping its community. Thank you, UMBA, for all you do and for this award.”
