Barbara Bagnasacco, an attorney licensed to practice in Utah and Italy, has joined Parsons Behle & Latimer’s corporate transactions and securities team. Bagnasacco brings a wealth of experience to Parsons Behle & Latimer in the areas of domestic and international mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, equity and debt offerings and foreign direct investment, among others. Parsons Behle & Latimer, which currently possesses a well-respected corporate transactions team, welcomes the international corporate transactions strength Bagnasacco brings as one of its newest shareholders. Bagnasacco will serve as a panelist at the March 7, “Women in International Business 2019 Conference,” hosted by World Trade Association of Utah.

“Barbara is an incredibly talented and experienced lawyer and will be a very valuable asset to our firm and clients, bringing an extraordinary background in international business law,” says Nora Pincus chair of the firm’s corporate transactions and securities practice.

“I am excited to join such a talented group of attorneys in the corporate group at a time of exciting growth for the firm,” says Bagnasacco.

Bagnasacco regularly advises U.S. and foreign clients in connection with the establishment, structuring and compliance of their international operations, including international distribution networks. She is also an expert in data privacy regulation compliance, such as the recently-enacted European General Data Privacy Act (GDPR) and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA).

Bagnasacco, who was born and raised in Europe, initially developed an interest in the intersection of European Union (EU) laws with laws of individual EU member states. She moved to the U.S. as a young adult and her interest in international law continued. Now, as an experienced attorney and Parsons Behle & Latimer shareholder, Bagnasacco assists clients in penetrating foreign markets and in expanding their businesses globally. She enjoys the complexity of understanding and operating in different legal environments and the cultural aspects of conducting business internationally.

Parsons is pleased to welcome Barbara Bagnasacco to its corporate, transactions and securities practice group and looks forward to offering our clients the additional expertise and experience Bagnasacco brings to the firm.
