Michael A. Zody named leader of Parsons’ energy, environmental and natural resources practice group

With more than 25 years’ experience in environmental and natural resources litigation and strategic client counseling, Zody looks forward to leading the team.

Parsons Behle & Latimer, a preeminent Salt Lake City law firm is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael A. Zody as chair of its energy, environmental and natural resources practice group. Zody brings more than 25 years’ experience to the position. His environmental practice spans a full range of environmental and natural resources litigation, administrative proceedings and court actions.

His recent areas of focus have included complex Clean Air Act litigation, civil and criminal enforcement actions, defending NEPA challenges and IBLA appeals. Zody also maintains an active MSHA and OSHA defense practice. Zody replaces Richard Angell who was recently elected to Parsons’ board of directors.
