Parsons Behle & Latimer, one of Utah’s oldest and largest law firms is pleased to announce the inclusion of 31 of its attorneys in the 2020 issue of Mountain States Super Lawyers. Not surprisingly, this group includes several of Parsons’ women attorneys – four women shareholders in the “Top 50 Women” ranking as well as three women attorneys in the Rising Stars and additional categories.

Super Lawyers selects nominees from a peer-nominated, national list of more than 200,000 attorneys. Nominations undergo an evaluation process by a highly-credentialed Blue Ribbon Panel of attorneys. Only five percent of those nominated achieve Super Lawyers status.

For 2020, Julianne P. Blanch and Christina M. Jepson (employment and labor) received recognition in the “Top 50 Women” ranking. Parson shareholders represent eight percent of Super Lawyers’ entire Top 50 Women group.

Super Lawyers also designated Parsons’ attorneys Emily D. Holt and Alissa (Liz) Mellem (business litigation), and Nicole A. Salazar-Hall (family law) in the “Rising Stars” category. Other Parsons Behle & Latimer women attorneys receiving honors, and in additional categories, are Juliette P. White (intellectual property litigation) and Julianne P. Blanch and Katherine E. Venti (personal injury products: defense).

Hal Pos, Parsons president and CEO says, “We are extremely pleased that these outstanding attorneys have been recognized – justifiably - by Mountain States Super Lawyers. The firm has greatly benefitted greatly from their leadership as practice group chairs, mentors and subject matter authorities. They are some of the most knowledgeable and accomplished attorneys in their respective fields. This recognition is well deserved.”
