Chris Simboli s a member of Parsons Behle & Latimer’s Technology, Licensing and Intellectual Property Transactions Team and has extensive experience and expertise in drafting, negotiating, and advising on, contracts, transactions and arrangements required by clients in a wide variety of sophisticated technology and market sectors.



Chris Simboli is a shareholder at Parsons Behle & Latimer.  Having practiced law for over 20 years, Chris has extensive experience working on intellectual property and technology transactions, including during his time spent practicing in Silicon Valley. He helps his clients address the technology and licensing issues their deals demand, ranging from the routine to the highly complex. Chris understands his client's needs and helps them develop sound legal solutions to their business requirements based on firsthand experience and success. He has represented and negotiated with some of the biggest and best known technology companies in the world.

Chris advises his clients on the protection, commercialization, licensing, and transfer of intellectual property and technology. His practice includes the licensing and transfer of patents, copyrights, trademarks and trade secrets, as well as the licensing of software and other technologies, and the procurement and distribution of SaaS, IaaS, PaaS and other cloud-based services.  His clients have spanned the gamut in terms of the industries they operate within, including telecommunications, semiconductor, internet, e-commerce, computer software and hardware, cloud computing, data storage and privacy, consulting and professional services, research & design, and health care IT, to name but a few.

Chris also advises his clients on selling and purchasing high technology computer hardware and equipment products, and helps secure intellectual property rights protections in connection with research & design, joint development, consulting and professional services, and other technology development initiatives.
