Over the course of his career, Nathan has had the good fortune to be involved in substantial litigation, representing individuals, privately owned businesses and publicly traded companies in a number of different industries. He prides himself on learning his client’s businesses and understanding their concerns in order to find a practical and efficient resolution, whether by negotiation, litigation or other means.

Biography

Nathan is an experienced civil litigator helping his clients navigate the legal system and move forward in the best way possible. His litigation experience includes representation of clients in all types of intellectual property disputes, including patent infringement, copyright, trademark and trade secrets. He is an experienced antitrust and competitive issues lawyer providing regular advice on the enforcement and defense of non-competition and non-solicitation provisions. He has litigated numerous complex business disputes involving shareholder disputes, breach of contract, creditors’ rights issues, securities issues, and fraud. Additionally, he has served as trial counsel in cases involving complex land use, water and constitutional issues. Nathan applies this broad-based litigation experience to further advise clients on appropriate management of electronic discovery issues as well as the implementation of policies in preparation for litigation.

In addition to his litigation practice, Nathan is also a practiced employer-side labor lawyer with experience in collective bargaining, grievances, defense of unfair labor practice charges and related proceedings. He has become a trusted advisor on employer-union relations for private companies, non-profit arts organizations and municipalities.

Nathan has been fortunate to represent both foreign and domestic companies as well as individuals and non-profit organizations. His clients include numerous businesses in medical device, real estate development, outdoor sports, medical staffing, biotech and many other industries. He is keenly aware that each client has different needs and different objectives. He tailors his advice and his representation to the needs of each particular client considering the unique facts with which he is presented in each new matter.

 Nathan speaks, reads and writes French. He also speaks passable Mandarin Chinese.
