Biography

Tara Rice concentrates her practice on real property transactions, finance, and project development. Tara has particular experience with renewable energy development and economic development incentives.

Prior to joining the firm, Tara served as the director of the Montana Department of Commerce. She previously practiced with the global project finance group at Latham & Watkins LLP. Earlier in her career, she worked at the federal Rural Development agency and as a policy staffer on the White House Rural Council.

Tara currently serves on the board of the Montana Justice Foundation and the board of the Myrna Loy Center in Helena.
