Biography

Jamie Tract utilizes both her in-house and law firm experience to apply creative solutions to complex issues. She has represented both national and international clients on a broad range of transactions in various sectors. As head of business and legal affairs for a Reno start-up dental practice, Jamie oversaw financing and construction, the implementation of practice systems, and ensured compliance with regulations and licensures.

Prior to returning to Reno, Jamie worked as lead in-house transactional counsel at a major Los Angeles real estate acquisition, development and management company. Here, she oversaw the complex purchase and sales of high-worth commercial, retail and residential properties located throughout California, Nevada and Texas. Her experience includes negotiation and drafting of purchase and sale agreements; structuring of tax-deferred exchanges; financing; regulatory compliance; entity formation and governance; development and property management agreements; capital contributions; and interest transfers.

Jamie’s early legal experience at a well-respected Los Angeles civil litigation firm included representing clients in both state and federal courts. Her experience in litigation helped Jamie to develop a critical eye and extreme level of detail in contract drafting.
