Parsons Behle & Latimer Welcomes Corporate Attorney Tara Rice

Parsons Behle & Latimer (Parsons), a preeminent law firm in the Intermountain West, is pleased to welcome corporate and real estate attorney Tara Rice to its Montana offices. Rice joins the firm in an of counsel capacity and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in both the private and public sectors. The addition of Rice to Parson’s attorney bench provides local access for Helena clients, where Rice is based, and expands Parsons’ range of legal offerings to clients throughout the state of Montana.
Rice’s practice focuses on project development, real property transactions, business entity formation and contract negotiation.

Prior to joining the firm, Rice served as the director of the Montana Department of Commerce. She previously practiced with the global project finance group at Latham & Watkins LLP. Earlier in her career, she worked at the federal Rural Development agency and as a policy staffer on the White House Rural Council. Rice is originally from north central Montana.
Rice says her interest in joining Parsons Behle and Latimer was based on the sophistication and expertise of Parsons’ transactional practice. She says she feels her practice will benefit from being part of a team of experienced attorneys who are great to work with and understand the businesses and industries they serve.
