Biography

Benjamin Lefler is a member of Parsons Behle & Latimer’s corporate, real estate and estate planning teams, where his practice focuses on corporate matters (including mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, agricultural transactions and energy transactions), real estate transactions (including purchases, sales and leases) and estate planning. He also provides outside general counsel services to clients across a variety of industries and enjoys counseling with clients as a trusted partner.

Benjamin began his career at a large international law firm in Houston, Texas working on complex corporate matters. He received his J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School in 2020, where he was a Rubenstein Scholar (full tuition scholarship). Benjamin was also a member of the University of Chicago Legal Forum and served as President of the Dallin H. Oaks Society. During law school, he was an intern in the Civil Division of the United States Attorney's Office for the District of Utah. In 2016, Benjamin graduated magna cum laude from Brigham Young University with a B.A. in Economics.

Benjamin is admitted to practice law in the State of Idaho and the State of Texas. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, hiking/running/biking, reading and playing sports.

Parsons Behle & Latimer represented a privately held sporting goods company in a strategic asset acquisition supporting its continued growth and expansion. Strategic Sale of Regional Construction Company

Parsons Behle & Latimer advised a privately held, regional construction company in its sale to a publicly traded strategic acquirer. Parsons Represents Spectrum Engineers as Lead Counsel in Tri-Party Merger Forming Lynk Engineers

Parsons Behle & Latimer advised Spectrum Engineers, a leading middle-market engineering firm headquartered in Salt Lake City, as the lead party in a tri-party business combination involving Envision Engineering and Colvin Engineering to form Lynk Engineers. The Parsons deal team was led by Adam Ott and Keyan Norman with assistance from Benjamin Lefler, Hunter Johnson, Spencer Medel, and Landon Tracy. Ross Keogh, Paul Smith, and Emily Hill also advised on the transaction.
