George Flint concentrates his practice on the legal and business needs of growing companies with an emphasis on acquisitions, financings, crisis management and complex commercial transactions. Drawing upon an extensive mergers and acquisitions and international law background, he has advised clients in all stages of development including managing the results of rapid growth and preparing established businesses for sale.
Mr. Flint has participated in more than 75 mergers and acquisition transactions and financings valued in the aggregate at more than $15 billion. He joined Parsons Behle & Latimer in 1995. During 1997 and the first half of 1998, he served as acting in-house senior corporate counsel to Iomega Corporation. He began his legal career in New York where for nine years he was a member of the Mergers and Acquisitions Department of Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom in its New York and London offices. Prior to attending law school, he worked as a loan officer in the Corporate Banking Group of the Chase Manhattan Bank, N.A. in New York. He is former chair and president of the Utah Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG). He is listed in Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business.
