Biography
Rew Goodenow is a former president of the State Bar of Nevada and of the National Conference of Bar Presidents and served a number of years on Parsons Behle & Latimer's board of directors. He has been lead counsel in many commercial and financial transactions. He has also been lead counsel in substantial commercial litigation matters before numerous courts and administrative bodies. A number of published court decisions list Mr. Goodenow as lead counsel for the prevailing party. He chaired the editorial board of the ABA Journal for three years. He has published extensively in magazines and treatises. Mr. Goodenow's book, Business Entities in Nevada, is the primary resource on that subject. An EDGAR search will show the numerous significant transactions in which Mr. Goodenow has represented companies, especially in the mining industry where he has successfully completed many mergers and acquisitions.
Currently, Mr. Goodenow serves, among other positions, as general counsel to the Board of Governors of the State Bar of Nevada and as a member of the Board of Governors of the American Bar Association. As the principal author of Nevada's Limited Liability Company Act, Mr. Goodenow regularly provides advice and counsel in complex transactions involving such companies. He has been engaged by the Nevada Secretary of State to advise it on the digital operating agreement, among other topics. He also currently serves on the Board of Visitors of the National Judicial College. In his spare time, Mr. Goodenow is a ski instructor and serves as a director of a local ski area.

Defending Founder from Former Business Associate
Lead Counsel in defending founder of pharmaceutical therapy companies from action by a former business associate in connection with a dispute concerning the control of stock.
Acquisition of Mine
Lead counsel in the acquisition of a Nevada mine and offered corporate governance, due diligence and transactional advising throughout the process.
