Chad West is a member of the firm’s Corporate practice group. His practice focuses on business transactions, corporate governance, acquisitions and general business matters. Chad also represents companies when litigation is necessary to protect their interests.
Mr. West assists large and small businesses in a variety of general business matters, including formation, corporate governance, contract drafting and negotiation, and acquisitions. He also has extensive commercial litigation experience representing clients in breach of contract, collection, real estate and other matters.
Mr. West obtained his J.D. from the University of Utah, S.J. Quinney College of Law, graduating with High Honors. While in law school, Mr. West was a note and comment editor on the Utah Law Review; a Faust Library Research Fellow; and served as a judicial extern for the Hon. Joel Marker of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, District of Utah. Prior to his legal education, Mr. West earned his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Utah State University. He is admitted to practice in Utah.
