He regularly counsels clients on their risks and obligations under laws relevant to their data and offers strategic guidance on the many issues associated with the privacy and security of personal data.
Paul supports healthcare businesses with navigating the legal complexities associated with healthcare services, such as HIPAA privacy compliance, business associate agreements and a variety of healthcare transaction work.
Paul advises his clients on the protection, commercialization, licensing and transfer of intellectual property and technology. His practice includes the licensing and transfer of patents, copyrights, trademarks and trade secrets as well as the licensing of software and other technologies and the procurement and distribution of SaaS and other cloud-based services. He also assists clients with drafting website privacy policies and complying with U.S. and international privacy law requirements.
